Well actually the publishing of today’s infographic, prepared by the guys at Curalate, marks
the beginning of my Pinterest endeavour . As of now I will be working harder on bringing Pinterest traffic and growing a following and will of course report back to you my experience.
To help me get the wheel spinning, I installed a really neat plugin called Pinterest Auto Pin (aff. link). The plugin allows me to easily add Pinterest sharing buttons to all my blog post images. You might want to try it out!
But anyway, let’s get back to the infographic…
When it comes to sharing visuals on Pinterest, it turns out that there are different factors, determining how much of an exposure those visuals will receive. Knowing the factors and how they affect shareability can certainly help you get more repins and hence exposure to your blog or website.
Namely that is what we will be taking a look at right now!
But before you scroll down to the infographic here are four of the eight main takeaways:
The difference between warm and cool colors The difference between darker and lighter images The role that image saturation plays The presence or absence of faces in your imagesI really hope you enjoyed the infographic!
Now I’d really like to hear your thoughts!
Have you signed-up for Pinterest? Is in your opinion the network worth spending time on? Have you noticed any other interesting patterns, regarding images and how to get more repins?
Please take a minute to share!
