Before there was Facebook and Twitter…
And whereas there are lots of images being shared on the first, the main focus of Facebook has always been connecting and chatting with friends. Twitter on the other hand is far less visual and is a network, mostly aimed at allowing individuals from around a world to connect and all in all is a great place for businesses to be.
Things are changing though…
Now with Instagram and Pinterest gaining strength, it seems like social media is becoming ever more about visual information than plain ol’ boring text. And there’s no wonder – a picture’s worth a thousand words as they say.
For consumers it is far easier to like or pin a funny picture that they can relate to than to read a whole article and retweet it.
This shift to visual content means that businesses have to adapt!
The following infographic that comes from the guys at Socially Sortedis all about that, as it talks about the shift itself and provides you with six practical tips to make your brand more visual.
Hope you enjoy it guys, here it is!
